Product Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and set a clear vision and strategy to drive the roadmap of our products.
• Partner with R&D and Sales departments to develop product strategies to maximize market share and profitability.
• Collect and prioritize customer requirements through research needed to obtain market information, e.g., Voice of Customer, Industry reports.
• Ensure that the company is a frontrunner in its markets through regular competitor benchmarks incl. SWOTs and market requirements analyses.
• Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by means of specification and requirement reviews while bringing in new product ideas and / or product changes.
• Introduce new products to market by analysing product requirements and roadmaps, prepare ROI analyses and ensure milestone commitments.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing departments to build a robust Go To Market strategy incl. Key Selling Messages to project USPs of the product
• Understand industry landscape, market products, and customer needs to develop holistic strategic plans.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
• Technical educational background in one of core engineering disciplines like plastics, chemical, mechanical, electrical
• Several years’ experience in paper, plastic or glass packaging environment and / or in pharmaceutical industry
• Experience of working as a product manager over several years including interaction with customers
• Successful in building relationships, working in cross functional teams and building consensus in a group of diverse personalities
• You’re willing to travel and maintain international relationships
• Fluent in business English and German
• Good public speaking and presentation skills
